Summer in the emerging garden

The garden is now nearly 9 months old and is starting to establish itself well. We lost a few little native plants due to the high rainfall we had in spring. The banksias and acacias are doing extremely well and the correas have also grown significantly. Can you spot Neptune, our ragdoll peeking over a rock?

The Native Garden out the Front - Winter 2011

Well, here it is the end of July (midwinter) and there is some colour in the garden. I can't wait until spring when everything should take off. The garden was planted out at Easter time. Here there are photos of Kangaroo Paws, Correa Bells, Inca Golds and Yellow Devils. The weekend was glorious, no rain, only sunshine and two mild days. I could actually sit out in the garden and enjoy it.
