The Architecture of Happiness

As Alan Botton writes the house of one's dreams can be "a "physical and psychological sanctuary" as well as "a guardian of identity." Let the arty farty renovation begin. My ideas for a home have been influenced by my visits to el Caminito, an Italian enclave in La Boca, Argentina. Enrique, one of my best friends, spent a day showing me around the area which enchanted me with its character and unashamed use of vibrant colours. You can see our design at the top of this page. Let's hope it all goes to plan.
